Here is a picture of Vern, my husband of near
24 years. This was taken when he was principle of a private Christian school. (I was his secretary for
3 years.) Just think of all white hair and beard and you'll see him today. He worked for a temp agency in accounting.
He applied for early retirement. Yes, even though he is younger than myself, we have formed a great partnership
through all these years. He was born in Sonora, CA and moved to the Bay Area to go to college at Cal., ending up at
San Francisco State, majoring in Political Science. He ran and was elected to the Republican Party Council for
the county. He loves opera, bookwork on the computer, eating, puttering around the garden and reading (an avid reader).
