"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life." John 3:15
I really wanted to build this site because I wanted people to know that I am a Christian. Why, because knowing
Jesus has changed my life. And I shall never be thankful enough.
It was when I was 33 that I asked Jesus to come into my life. I was then at the lowest ebb of my failure of a life.
I was a single mom, trying to make ends meet in the office crowd. I was crying out from my inner most self when a
new friend came and told me about Jesus and said she was praying for me. I didn't know what that ment but I needed every
prayer I could get. I did ask Jesus to come into my life. And when Jesus came into my life, I felt a huge burden lift
off of my shoulders and a peace and joy fill me. My past errors and ways (sins) were forgiven and washed away (as if
I had never had them). My life was new and I saw everything with new eyes. It's been a wonderful walk
with Him ever since. I won't say it's been easy. He didn't say He'd take us out of this world, but that He would
take the world out of us. He said He'd be with us in everything we go through. So, every time a hard thing comes
into my life I ask Jesus for help (prayer) and He does help me. He takes away my fears, heartache, etc. He lovingly
shows me my faults and He changes them when I thank Him for showing them to me. It's called 'being renewed day by day.'
I can't recommend it enough to you. Ask Him into your life and He will help you with everything you go through, make
you the good person you have always wanted to be and direct your life better than you, yourself can. He has a purpose
for your life and will use the talents He has placed within you from the beginning. When you ask Him into your life
and heart, He will come into you and start teaching you about Himself. He would like you to find a fellowship of other
'believers' who love Him and want to be just like Him so that you can grow in maturity in His Kingdom. The most important
part is repentence (when we do wrong) and obedience to His directives for our lives, found in His Word, the Bible, and holy
teachers appointed by Him to help us. He will give you the gift of His Holy Spirit to come and live inside of you and
be your teacher, also, helping you to understand the Bible and giving you the power to live like He would like you to live.
So, ask Him to reveal Himself to you. Ask Him if all I have written above is true. He is right near you now
and is more than willing that you become one of His children. If you have any questions regarding this or want any prayer
regarding this, please do write me at vaspaulding@yahoo.com.
